Encaustic Collage on paper
Ah ! so much choice and just haven’t decided where to start ! Encaustic medium acts like a glue so its really quite amazing how it lends itself to collage. On Encaustic monotypes I am cutting non absorbent paper and fusing shapes onto paper along with painted pieces on tissue papers and Asian papers. Learning what is working and what is not. I will be experimenting with lots of media. Collecting lots of mixed media objects and papers and see what elements will work on Encaustic boards and with Encaustic monotypes.
